…exposing the truth about Mercy Ministries

We Really Need Your Help

I’m really eager to speak to anybody who has any experience of Mercy Ministries UK.

There are so many stories about Mercy all over the world. So far though virtually nobody has come forward from the UK to talk about their experience of Mercy Ministries.

Have you taken part in Mercy’s UK program? Do you know someone who has?

If you can offer any information please let me know at thetruthaboutmercy@gmail.com

I have been eagerly following your cause for a while now and even seriously considered going undercover as a patient for a documentary (assuming one ever gets aired).
The problem is that I do not consider myself Christian, don’t go to church and am almost certainly unpopular with the people I knew from the churches I used to go to.
Even so, it still takes my breath away that anyone who claims to be part of a loving belief system and I am still appalled at what people go through

In March, one of my Facebook friends – who I know of through my boyfriend and his various churches – posted a link praising MM. I showed him the MM Survivors page. The interesting thing is that this friend I spoke to is a qualified therapist (Not an MM one, I assume).
His experience of MM is one of positivity and transparency and he has spoken to patients and staff at MM UK (I could forward you the conversation if you so wished).

These links could be of use to you, especially the second: http://imatumblin.tumblr.com/ and http://www.benedictionblogson.com/2011/05/30/im-a-mercy-ministries-survivor/.

I’ll email those who are within Abundant Life Church’s network and may even consider faking a request to be treated by MM.

    • That’s good you’ve heard positive stories. Unfortunately not all the stories about MMUK are all positive.

    Hi

I’m a graduate of MMUK (2012) I have followed your mercy ministries survivors pages before and after my time at MMUK.

I am sad and sorry for the experiences you had and feel for you.

I however had a great time at MMUK and my life is so much better since graduating. I won’t pretend it was easy at MMUK because it wasn’t but it was life saving.

I’m not sure that the UK home at least shares the many problems you have discribed in the other homes.

Could you share some of the issues that you have evidence of with the UK home and then I could see.

    Thanks.

My sister was bullied by a member of mm staff before she started the course. They use “words from God” to manipulate and brainwash people. She had a lucky escape.
